The Games Weekend Murder
Welcome, Investigator
On August 4, 2024, a group of six friends went away for their yearly "games weekend" at a remote cabin in Squamish, BC.
Only five of them returned.
Isaiah Thomas tragically died after suffering an unexpected allergic reaction.
One of his Isaiah's five friends caused the allergic reaction and hid his EpiPen.
But who?
That's your job.
Your job is to investigate Isaiah's five friends and figure out who killed him.
Was it Brynn Lee?
Claire Rong?
Elise Murphy?
Lenny Sanchez?
Or Phil Burton?
You'll solve this case in three parts.
In Part 1, you'll eliminate two suspects.
In Part 2, you'll eliminate one suspect.
And in Part 3, you'll eliminate one suspect.
There will be encrypted notes and messages for you to decode along the way. There is an encrypted note in Part 1 and an encrypted message in Part 3.
When you start a new part, read through the evidence and figure out which suspect(s) to eliminate. When you know who to eliminate, click on the part you're working on (on this website) and take the quiz. The quiz will ask you to select the suspect(s) you would like to eliminate and evidence that supports eliminating them.
If you're stuck, click on the part you're working on (on this website) and scroll down for hints.
Once you've eliminated all suspects for the part you're working on (two suspects in Part 1, and one suspect for Parts 2 and 3), you can move on to the next part. Download or print the evidence you were emailed (for the next part) and start the next part.
Once you've successfully eliminated all suspects, you'll know who the killer is.
This case can be solved using a process of elimination, but there's evidence that points to the killer's identity along the way.
Once you've solved the case, navigate to the Full Solution page on this website to debrief.
Good luck!
